1. Select suitable diameter
Select the size of the air-sealing plug to match the diameter of the conduit.
2. Pre-form the penetration
Punch through STOPPA using a conical object (nail or cartridge nozzle).
Create a hole that is about 60% of the cable diameter.
3. Feed the cable through
Support STOPPA at the penetration point with your hand and pull the cable through the prepared hole.
4. Create an airtight bond with the conduit
Push the plug firmly into the conduit as far as it will go.
5. You’re finished!
No further bonding is required.
The flexible thermoplastic elastomer creates an airtight seal between the cable and conduit.
6. Note regarding conduit grommets
Conduits can be quickly and reliably integrated into the airtightness/windtightness layer using the ROFLEX 20 and ROFLEX 20 multi conduit grommets.
